Users Satisfaction on Knowledge Centre of National Institute of Technology Agartala, India: An Evaluative Study

Abstract

A library’ benefits to the user community are revealed during performance evaluation and measurement. This study aims to evaluate the user satisfaction level of the Knowledge Centre of NIT Agartala. The survey method has been applied in the present study, and data were collected by physically visiting the library. Findings reveal that most users visit the library twice a week. The primary purpose of visiting the library is to use the lending facility to get their books issued and returned in time. While visiting the library, most users prefer to use books. The study also found that the users are satisfied with library collection and reading room services. In contrast, the users have a neutral attitude towards the e-services of the library.
