Implementation of the Green- Supply Chain Procedures and Practices in SMEs of Gautam Buddha Nagar: Barriers and Enablers

Abstract

The important part of the supply chain management is the green- supply chain management (GSCM). In recent centuries, government agencies, academic institutions, environmentalists and business organizations have been more interested in addressing environmental concerns in various industrial activities. Moreover, the recent data suggests that SMEs rapidly arrange the increasing profits above protecting the environment through the application of GSCM practices. The objective of research is to study the GSCM practices that are currently used by Indian SMEs, the factors that lead SMEs to embrace GSCM methods, the challenges that Indian SMEs' managers and owners have to encounter while putting these GSCM practices into various organizational activities.
