Abstract
The accelerating evolution of cryptocurrencies necessitates a fundamental reassessment of risk management strategies within the financial sphere. This research aims to chart a course through the unexplored terrain of the crypto revolution by advocating for a departure from traditional risk management paradigms. By conducting a comprehensive analysis, this study delves into the distinctive challenges posed by digital assets, including heightened market dynamics, regulatory ambiguities, and technological vulnerabilities.
To achieve this, a mixed-methods approach combining qualitative and quantitative analysis is employed, ensuring a thorough examination of the multifaceted aspects of crypto-related risks. The study finds that conventional risk models are inadequate in addressing the volatility and complexity of digital currencies.
