Abstract

A popular security issue in wireless sensor networks (WSN) is the denial of service (DoS). The WSNs are susceptible to several denial-of-service attacks, even though the ZigBee protocol was developed with security and reduced battery usage in consideration. This happens particularly relevant when nodes are placed in unattended environments. In WSNs, the attacker uses the flaws to execute many DoS Attacks. In this research, numerous methods for protecting against DoS attacks are discussed, and a method for detecting and fighting against both worm-hole and black-hole assaults has been proposed. The suggested technique extends network lifespan and is simpler to install, uses two-way energy (Battery and Solar powered), and is less complicated. The results show that the security based improved leach is better than conventional methods considering energy and other parameters.
