A study on interventions for emotional and behavioral disorders in Chinese children with autism through family games and music

Abstract

Intervention therapy is needed for children with autism to make them grow up healthy. This paper briefly introduced autism and related interventions, divided 30 children with autism into three groups for case study. One group was interfered by family games only, one group was interfered by music therapy only, and one group was interfered by both family games and music therapy. The results showed that both family games and music therapy were effective in reducing children’s autism and had insignificant difference in efficacy; the treatment effect of the intervention combining the two measures were significantly better than that of the interventions alone.
