Abstract

The present study aims to investigate the various factors influencing the attrition of MBA faculty in the state of Kerala, India. In higher education institutions, faculty attrition is a serious problem, especially when it comes to Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes. Institutions must comprehend these elements in order to create teacher retention plans that work and to guarantee the continuous provision of high-quality instruction. The quantitative phase collects data on demographics, work-life balance, professional development opportunities, institutional support, job satisfaction, and other relevant variables by distributing surveys to a representative sample of MBA faculty across various institutions in Kerala. It is anticipated that the study's conclusions will clarify the main causes of faculty attrition in Kerala's MBA programmes and offer insightful suggestions on how academic institutions, decision-makers, and administrators may deal with these problems. In the end, raising teacher satisfaction and retention will help the region's MBA programme as a whole, which will be advantageous to both faculty members and the students they instruct.
