A Study On Effect Of Probiotic Fermented Tea On Type II Diabetic Subjects
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research examines the impact of Kombucha tea supplementation on individuals with type 2 diabetes, particularly emphasizing essential health metrics such as liver function, lipid profiles, and blood glucose levels. Changes in metabolism are frequently linked to type 2 diabetes, which can result in problems like hyperglycemia, dyslipidemia, and hepatic impairment. It has been proposed that the bioactive ingredients in kombucha tea, a fermented beverage high in microbes, antioxidants, and organic acids, provide health advantages. In this study, blood glucose levels, lipid profiles (including total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL, and HDL), and liver function tests (including ALT, AST, and ALP) were tracked in diabetic participants who took Kombucha tea supplements for a predetermined amount of time. The gathered data were put through a thorough statistical analysis to determine the importance of any changes. The outcomes highlighted the potential benefits of Kombucha tea in treating metabolic diseases linked to type 2 diabetes by showing improvements in lipid metabolism, liver enzyme activity, and blood glucose management. According to these results, kombucha tea may be used with a diabetic's diet to help reduce the risk of problems. Confirming the long-term advantages and underlying mechanisms requires more research.
