Abstract

Emotions play a crucial role in daily life, impacting decision-making, relationships, and overall well-being. Emotional competence involves understanding and controlling emotions, which is essential for efficient communication and conflict resolution (Blandford et al., 2017). This study aims to contribute to the understanding of how psychological and emotional factors affect teachers' ability to manage conflicts, ultimately fostering a more positive and productive educational environment. The self-made Emotional Competence Scale and Conflict Resolution Scale were used to determine the emotional competence and conflict resolution of 874 high school teachers. The findings show a significant relationship between them with its dimensions.
