Abstract

Many advanced and emerging countries are strategizing to shift towards renewable energy technologies to fulfill the increasing electricity requirements of their populations and enhance the efficiency of their power grids. This bibliometric review aims to comprehensively understand and visually represent research perspectives on renewable energy's contribution to sustainable development, utilizing Scopus data spanning from 1978 to 2023. A total of 392 Scopus articles were chosen and analyzed using a qualitative methodology. The study utilizes innovative visualization techniques, such as Citation Network Analysis, Global Citation Score, and Co-Occurrence Networks of Keywords, to visually represent the scientific structure of the Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping System. The survey indicates that the research on Solar photovoltaic water pumping systems has been increasing since 2012, with an average of 21.60 citations per document. The aim and findings of the study are to improve understanding of the content and structure of the influence of financial incentives on the adoption of solar photovoltaic (SPV) water pumping systems in India’s agricultural sector, as well as its representation in the literature. In contrast to the recent advancements in integrating solar photovoltaic water system information, the current study showcases a higher degree of meticulousness in terms of the approach and databases employed.
