Abstract

Institutional repositories (IRs) have emerged as essential infrastructures for managing, preserving and disseminating academic resources within educational institutions. This paper explores the concept of IRs and their pivotal role in modern academic resource management. It examines how IRs enhance the accessibility and visibility of scholarly works, support open access initiatives and ensure the long-term preservation of digital content.
