Main Article Content
Abstract
Ensuring strong digital safety has become essential in our ever evolving digital world. The abundance of online platforms and the quick development of technology have created previously unheard-of opportunities and difficulties in the modern digital landscape. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the psychological effects of digital safety incidents on individuals and find out how users are aware of issues related to digital safety, with a particular emphasis on stress, anxiety, and the loss of trust. Using a cross-sectional approach, data from a representative sample of internet users will be gathered via online surveys and qualitative interviews. The questionnaires were used to assess participants' experiences with incidents affecting digital safety, awareness of common threats to digital safety, and understanding of preventive actions. Qualitative interviews were provided with insights into people's psychological responses to such circumstances, exploring the degree of stress, anxiety, and betrayal encountered. It is anticipated that the study's findings will shed light on users' existing understanding of digital safety issues and clarify the complex relationship between these incidents and psychological health. This research intends to inform the creation of customized interventions and methods to increase both psychological resilience and digital safety education. The ultimate goal is to raise awareness and promote an online community that improves people's overall well-being.
