Abstract

The study aims to present a bibliometric analysis of the journal “Open Journal of Business and Management” towards providing summary of research activities and to characterize the important aspects. The present study is based on the bibliometrics analysis of the papers published during the period 2013–2021. The analysis mainly covers the year-wise distribution, category-wise classification, authorship patterns, degree of collaboration, geographical distribution of articles and the citation analysis. The analysis revealed that during the study period, 703 papers were published. In 2020 (172 articles, 24.46 percent) the maximum number of papers have been published and in 2013 has been the minimum (11 articles, 1.56 percent). The single author (282 papers, 40.02 per cent) followed the two categories of authors was the highest number of papers (31.62 percent). This means that most of the authors made their contributions alone.
