Words Across Ages: Communication and Cultural Identity in Historical Context
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study uniquely combines sentiment evaluation with ancient examination of linguistic shifts, offering a twin perspective on language evolution and cultural identity throughout both traditional and virtual media... Unlike previous research, which often isolates historical or contemporary contexts, this study bridges the two, highlighting how language functions as both a unifying force and a source of fragmentation in an increasingly globalized world. Through detailed sentiment analysis on social media, findings reveal that while dominant global languages promote connectivity, local languages sustain cultural identity in personal and community interactions. This research underscores the pressing need for policies supporting linguistic diversity and multilingual inclusivity in digital platforms, especially for the preservation of minority languages at risk of marginalization.
