Abstract

Domestic violence is a critical social issue that affects millions of individuals worldwide. In this paper, we present a comprehensive analysis 15613 papers, the growth and impact of domestic violence research over the past decade (2013-2022). The findings reveal a steady increase in the number of research papers during the initial years, followed by a remarkable acceleration from 2015 onwards. Notably, 2020 and 2021 witnessed a substantial surge in research productivity, indicating an increasing interest in addressing domestic violence issues. Our analysis identifies influential authors, organizations, and funding sponsors, showcasing their substantial contributions to the field. The United States emerges as the leading country in terms of research output, followed closely by the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada. English stands out as the predominant language of research communication, underscoring its universal acceptance in the scientific community.
