Abstract
This paper investigates the impact of cloud computing service brand positioning on employees' perceptions and its implications for overall brand strategy. It proposes a model to assess the influence of brand positioning strategies on IT employees and their perception of cloud service providers. The study aims to demonstrate the significance of brand positioning in achieving marketing objectives and sustaining growth in the cloud computing service market.
The findings suggest that cloud service brands effectively position themselves in employees' minds by emphasizing features, benefits, expert opinions, and guarantees of satisfaction, particularly in terms of cost, service quality, knowledge transfer, and innovation. The study identifies AWS as the leading cloud service provider, followed by Azure, Google, and IBM.
This paper discusses implications for increasing market share in the cloud computing service sector, highlighting the risks associated with failing to capture new market segments. It also highlights the social implication of heightened employee satisfaction with knowledge and technology in the cloud computing industry.
Furthermore, this paper underscores the importance of understanding how brand positioning affects employees and suggests strategies for cloud service providers to enhance their market share further.
