Abstract
This study investigates the factors influencing Green Human Resource Management (Green HRM) practices in Bangalore's IT industry, a sector characterized by rapid growth and significant environmental impact. Through factor analysis, six key influences were identified: Organizational Culture, Top Management Commitment, Regulatory Pressures, Employee Attitudes and Awareness, Competitive Advantage, and Technological Advancement. Together, these factors explained 83.23% of the variance in Green HRM practices. The findings underscore the importance of fostering a sustainable organizational culture and ensuring strong leadership commitment to drive green initiatives. Additionally, the study highlights the role of regulatory frameworks, employee engagement, and technological support in enhancing the adoption of Green HRM. The insights derived from this research provide a roadmap for IT companies in Bangalore to develop effective sustainability strategies, ultimately contributing to reduced environmental impact and improved corporate responsibility.
