Abstract

The present study establishes a framework for overseeing education financing through a collaborative managerial assistance program in junior high schools in the Deli Serdang District. The qualitative research approach encompasses in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis. Interviews were conducted with stakeholders, while observations and document analysis contributed pertinent empirical data. The research findings indicate that the collaborative managerial assistance program can increase transparency, accountability, and efficiency in administering education funds. Furthermore, a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with experts corroborated the proposed monitoring model and highlighted the significance of program sustainability. In summary, the collaborative managerial assistance-based supervisory model effectively enhances the management of education funds and has the potential to be more extensively implemented to improve the quality of education in Indonesia and comparable settings. Substantial support from the government, educational institutions, and continuous training are imperative for the success of this initiative.
