Chemosensing Study of 1,4-Benzothiazine Generated from Acetylacetone

Abstract
Investigated the chemosensing property of already reported benzothiazine molecule. Electronic spectroscopy has been used for the detection of cations in solution. The cations Fe3+, Co2+, Ni2+ and Cu2+ exhibited different colours with 1,4-benzothiazine derivative due to the absorption in the visible region.
